FTSC and check imaging

The FTSC is still working to avoid check fraud in the new check 21 imaging environment.

As a check is imaged all the paper based security features would tend to be removed, since it is not on paper anymore.

So a new security situation has to be utilized and protected.

Will instances of check fraud start to occur because of check 21? Or will check fraud be driven out of the payment system?
