American express travelers check card

Amex have launched a travelers check replacement card, that can be used in ATMs worldwide.

This seems to be somewhat similar to the visa stored value card, which I have used a few times.
When traveling I tend to get a number of different sources of funds with me. Travelers checks, bank atm card, credit card, cash and stored value card. This way I can keep going in adverse situations and I can always actually pay for what I want, just about where ever I am.

rechargable is good. As it can be reused multiple times.
