Travelers checks faked

Counterfeit travelers checks have been found I wonder how easy it is to check those checks
Since they come from lots of countries. And I'd get annoyed if someone wouldn't accept my
Travelers check.

I guess visual clues and comparison. And also the body language of the person cashing the
check.
