The first option that most people think of for personal bank checks is the bank itself. Most of us get a check book when we first open a new account and it's issued by the bank. The first current account we ever had will undoubtedly have come with a nice new and rather exciting checkbook.

Nowadays there's quite a buzz about ordering checks online with various artistic designs... But what is wrong with the bank? To be honest there are some advantages to the bank. Firstly they will be sure to specify their own checks correctly - there's no chance of them not being up to standard.

Secondly, your bank or savings and loan already has all your details on file, so they can do the check ordering without much effort from you - all you need do is let them know you want more.
